I agree entirely. In terms of my 2 interests:
a) Implementing Common LISP kernel/compatibility in/for PSL
b) Getting our and other LISP tools working for Common LISP
I would very much like to see a clear effort NOW to isolate some of the
kernel features, and major implementation issues (data-types, user
control over storage manager, etc) so that some of us can implement
a kernel, and others can design extensions.
